I get mowers and snowblowers off the curb all the time. Mostly just clean the carb. One i just had to put gas in the tank and have used it for 15 years. Had a newish MTD rider given to me. Said the motor was blown and locked up. All it was was the crank case and cylinder were full of gas and hydraulicy locked up.Drained the oil, cranked it over till the gas shot out the plug hole and put a fuel shut off valve on it. Used it for 3 years and then sold it for $500.
