I ended up putting the tractor back together again because I needed to use it for some projects. At first, it acted the same and didnt want to go into reverse but after a little persuasion, it decided to go into reverse gear. I did a few projects and now it seems to slide into reverse again quite easily. Does this seem to imply that I have a bearing just slightly out? I'm thinking there may be just enough slop in the bearing that reverse occasionally binds but then it comes back into alignment and then works? Thanks again!
