You're doing well! My right hip was done two years ago. My surgeon didn't prescribe physical therapy but I'd go if it was prescribed. The only surprise I got was the loss of balance. The surgeon did warn me about it but it still surprised me. Apparently there are some nerves that get cut or damaged in the hip surgery and affect how your balance works.
