Had someone call asking me about supplying some square straw bales for a pancake breakfast they were hosting in their parking lot.
I told them $5 a bale, they said great we want 30 of them.
Next call was; can you deliver them?
Well I was driving into town with an empty pick up every day so I said I sure can for $5 a bale, once again they said great so I loaded them up and dropped them off.
Next day after the event was over the phone rang again, this time the problem was they were cleaning up and had no way to dispose of the bales, could I help?
I replied; sure I will load and haul them away for $5 a piece.
Once again, great was the reply.
When all was said and done it was the best money I ever made off bales.
Maybe you should try advertising rustic bales for rent.
