I don't know if anybody remembers a few years ago when I asked opinions on a G1000 I was considering buying before, but we finally brought it home the other day. Thankfully it was only 3 miles away from home so we were able to drive it back. It only went into 3rd gear, the breaks barely worked, and the steering caught the whole way home. But I LOVE the way it sounds. We removed all the sheet metal and the gas tank, and got the steering valve/motor out of the column today because we discovered it was leaking significantly. It seemed as if the leak was coming from the bowl looking part of the valve/motor, but we cant find where it was coming from specifically. We also got it to go into every gear, but its hard to find their positions. Its also not very easy to keep it in 4th.
If anybody has any suggestions for any of these problems, were always looking for pointers.
