Lots of people are blaming high lumber prices on people building during the shut down and from storm damage repair from hurricanes. So we could describe that as raising prices above normal levels during a crisis. Isn't that called Price Gouging???
I mean selling bottled water for 3 times the normal price in a disaster area even if you are the only one with bottled water for 50 miles is against price gouging laws. Shouldn't the same be true about lumber??
I am all for free enterprise and supply and demand but this is getting ridiculous.
