my charger was over 40 years old....had been run over once when I got, and I ran over it earlier this year. it worked up til a few days ago, but now there is no spark at all if I touch the cables. Bought a new dewalt figuring it was quality made, only to discover it was made in China. Still, seems like a good unit perhaps not 40 years good, though...or until I run over it too
