To the guy asking how many acres per hour he could plow. I plowed 20 acres in 6 and half hours today. So. central Mn. heavy black gumbo soil. Field 40 rods long so lots of end driving. 210 hp. Cat trac. pulling at full load. 6% wheel slip. I don't think this makes any difference but it is a 4 bottom vari-width JD. plow set at 24" cut about 9" deep. You probably have your plowing done by now so you already know how long it takes but maybe others will find this helpful. Got to get to bed so I can get up bright and early tomorrow. have have 70 acres to plow yet and forecast rain on Sunday.
