2 stroke oil is intended to lubricate and burn in a 100 PSI compression engine with gravity feed fuel system. In 400+ PSI compression engine and vaporizing fuel with injectors it will burn easyly will lubricate the injection components and will produce slight byproducts and pollution.
ATF is intended to resist to high temperature it has additive to avoid cluthes and bands slipping. It will not burn completely and will cause byproducts and pollution.
I use 2 stroke oil for years in diesel fuel and even sporadicly in gas engines it avoid sticking valves.
It is my humble opinion after over 50 years using machinery.
