A complete overhaul kit will cost you 500.oo-700.oo. Thats sleeves, pistons, rings, main and rod bearings, new valves, guides and springs, pin bushings, gaskets and an oil pump overhaul kit. Getting machine work done will add another 500.oo- Boil out the block, R&R sleeves, valve job on the block, turn the crank undersize as needed, resize and bush the connecting rods.
Add another 500.oo for ancillaries- water pump, starter, generator and distributor rebuild kits, hoses, belts etc., etc.
Do the assembly labour yourself- its a very simple, basic engine. Take your time and read a manual or watch youtube videos if you get stuck
