My GE ice maker quit working. They are quite expensive. Seams years ago all we had was little trays that you filled with water. Then put them the freezer section of the refrigerator, and they turned to ice. Then we had ice cubes. Or like my Grand Mother who lived on Dad's farm also, an ice truck came and dropped of a large chunk of ice to put in her ice box, if she needed a piece of ice, just chip off a chunk. She didn't have an ice maker. I think if I find a couple ice cube trays, I can save a lot of money. Wonder if the wife will go along with my idea? Stan
