When I lived up north I had my 11,000 lb 'yard tractor' for that. It was a 1964(?) John Deere 1010 crawler loader that I mounted an old 8 ft heavy manual angle snow plow blade to the bucket. I plowed my yard, town road intersections with the wood barriers that the town trucks shied away from and neighbors drives. I plowed close to the barriers because I had a good view and then I could lift the plow to push the snow over the edge barriers so people could see if any traffic was coming before they pulled out onto the main road. I thought it was fun and the town didn't mind because the loader tracks didn't damage the pavement.
