It sounds like he has an 800 series tractor of some sort, that might be better in the Ford section, not the N section......
And welcome to the forum tot he original poster, we love to help out but it’s all long distance, sight unseen, so we need the info, lots of info, and once you post 10 or so messages they assume you are a real,person and then allow you to post pictures, so hope to see more info on this issue here or in the Ford forum.
