Had this actually happen to me and my then 87 yr old mom while we were on a golf cart. I was was scratching the horse's head when it suddenly wheeled around, looking like it was going to kick, and sat it's rear on the edge of the seat and my leg. As soon as I saw the horse fly on it's back and smacked it, she got up and turned around to get more petting.
