super99, the white PVC tube is where he stores his 3 sighting poles that he uses to set up his plowing plot. The cylinder on the mounted plow is the hydraulic depth adjust. It lets the operator to adjust the angle and thus the depth of the plow on the fly. It also aids in quicker ground penetration when you are at the headlands. Think of it as a hydraulic toplink. The plow does have yellow poly covers on them. They really do make it plow easier and the don't plug up like metal ones (the metal ones are still underneath to add a "backbone"). There is no speed limit on the plowing competition. You are graded on quality of work. However there is a plowing time limit and you get penalized heavily if you go over that time.
