I'll take my chances and gamble in the stock market. Which not for everyone either. I've put more in the market after I retired than before. I like the idea of my money working for me. I intentionally took a 50% loss in 2008. My broker said wait, the market will come back. I told my broker I want a Capital Loss "Income Tax redistribution." I turned around and reinvested in the market. Didn't take very long to regain my losses. I'm still getting a tax break over the Capital Loss.
I feel market investments is an easy way to pass my estate to my kids. Can't see liquidating solar panels and windmills. George
