I am also looking forward to the comments here. I replaced the back up lights on my wife's Suburban with LED bulbs, and I was so disappointed that I returned the bulbs. There was no difference at all. I also replaced the headlight bulbs in my little JD 850 with LED bulbs just to see how well it would work, and I think it is actually worse. In all fairness, they were cheap bulbs and even though they fit the socket and have the same base, they were probably not designed to give top performance in this application.
I would expect that sealed beam replacements won't have this problem, but I'm a little reluctant to spend the money to experiment on my bigger tractors.
