I had a HF Badlands 2500 50 buck winch with wireless that worked for a number of years. Kept breaking the cable dragging it over stuff but the winch always held. Bot a TSC brand 3500 winch on sale for 79 bux and put it on. Used the same wiring and wireless controller from the HF one since it came with the wired controller. I see TSC sells the wiring kit for 50 bux so I figure the winch must be worth 29 bux. When I bot the bale mover to put on the back of my pickup, it came with either 2 ga or 4 ga wire double strand that I ran from the solenoid and along the frame rail and back up to the bed so it runs the winch too. That stuff is expensive on its own.
