OK, but the pickup truck got down to the site safe enough. Why not take the 460 the same route presumably winding up back at the top? Why not hire a wrecker tow truck and just pull straight up from the back end of the tractor to the top? At the time there would have been 2,000 dollars worth of investment just sitting there in limbo. Seems like letting money go to waste versus a 100 dollar or so wrecker bill. I get that you and I did not have a say so on that day but it just seems strange.
