If you get the crimper & use it in tandem with your 100 mower make sure the engine isn't tired. Had a '42 H with the standard pistons that I ran a 120 mower & 2A conditioner behind. Did ok for a season & a half. Had made three passes in tall grass hay when the engine backfired hard a couple time & ran poorly after that. Barely made it back to the house. After pulling the head, found small chunks of piston missing in the 1st & 3rd cylinder. Pushed that tractor down river. Ran the same setup behind my '49 H that was rebuilt with the Super H Fire Crater engine kit. That worked fine. Every once & a while, in heavy hay, the rollers would wrap tight when they would slow down enough to not discharge the hay fast enough & I was in 1st.
One other thing to consider is the PTO shaft. The early H's had the 1 1/8 vs the later 1 3/8. The larger diameter would be better for running the crimper.
