I can't count how many clutches I've changed in TN, TT, and other series New Holland (and other)tractors using the two stage LUK unit. I've don't recall ever having to adjust anything on the assembly prior to rolling the two halves together. If the dimensions look right as measured from the split mating surface to each set of release fingers, the distance from same to each release bearing with enough room for final(or future) adjustment, then things usually work out. I do check both clutches for proper feel as soon as the two halves are mated and at least two bolts are holding them together. If it doesn't feel right, the stands are still under it and it can be back apart in less than ten minutes to find out why.
I'd be wondering where the new clutch came from, and was it right to begin with?
