Hi guys --
New user here. My name is Drew, and I live in western Michigan. I'm trying to resuscitate an old Ariens Jet rototiller that was running a few years ago, but has been sitting for a while, and now won't fire up. It also may be leaking a bit of gas from somewhere.
This carb is one I'm having a lot of trouble finding information on, so as to either rebuild or replace it. And both the tiller & engine's ID stickers are, unfortunately, illegible. I believe the carb may be what's referred to as a large, one-piece Flo-jet, but am not positive. I did find a replacement carb available online (please see pic), but the holes on it for mounting the carb to the intake elbow are rotated 45 degrees from the ones on my existing carb. I can't find anything at all online that looks like the carb I've got. There's also even surprisingly little info out there on Jet tillers, as far as I can tell.
Please see pics. And if it helps, the engine shroud has 81302 943560 5909180 stamped on it.
I'd be grateful if anyone could please point me in the right direction as to what I need to get this thing running. Is there another carb that could be substituted?
