check the wiper arm part of the knife arm assy. for proper contact with the bill hook, one thing that will help if the wiper arm is flat where it contacts the bill hook take a round file make a little arch where it contacts the bill hook then readjust it to wipe the bill hook with a light contact pressure that will give more contact area with the twine pushing it off the bill hook. Had a 273 that one side was constantly giving trouble wrapping up with twine ,finally I noticed that side had a new knife arm assy. and the wiper part of it was flat compared to the older one on the other side which was arched, after a little filling it worked like it was supposed to.
