We missed two local rides that the club had Saturday. My grand daughter and her fiancee just got their PhDs from Western Michigan University and are moving to Lexington Ky next week for their postdoctoral work, so my daughter had a graduation/going away party for them.
One of the other members called and said the morning and afternoon rides were both awful dusty. The charity auction Saturday evening raised over $1400. Kim donated two flats of tomato plants like she always does. We usually have the whole thing Memorial Weekend though, so there's more demand for the tomatoes earlier.
Next ride is July 4th around Crystal Lake. I hope nobody has anything else for us to do that day. I think I liked it better last year when tractor rides were about the only social activities that were going on. We made it to six of rides and two plow days. We'll be lucky if we get to do three this year.
