Crop dusting is a huge industry around me. One of my earliest memories was watching Rucker Brothers Flying Service dusting crops north of us - they were using converted WW2 Stearman biplanes. Still a big business and a very important one as far as yields go, although the huge wheeled chemical sprayers have cut into the business I presume.. They even seed some cover crops with planes. Spray planes are part of the arsenal that makes it possible to feed the world.
Air Tractor is a brand name for a specialized spray plane made in Olney Texas. Cessna makes (or made, I have not kept up) an Ag Wagon and there are (or were) Piper Pawnees and others. They are fun to watch!
