So fuel lines straightened out after the nightmare you see here. Hydraulic leak found and corrected (wrong bolt). So low on hydraulic fluid the steering wouldn't work. Only 7 gallons low :cry:
Thought steering was air locked. Jacked up the front end and moved the wheels by hand. Got left to work, but from center to right wouldn't. Brother gave it a helping hand (ouch). Something gave and steering started working. Drove it a bit and it was great. Engine sounding strong.
All things going well and we filled the radiator and the water pump began leaking. Headed for Galesburg,ILL. in morning for rebuilt water pump. This should just about end the big work. Just little things now, worn bolts, loose wires.
Will have right at $3200 in it. Previous owner threw in another rim and tire. Says he might have two more - had duals at one time.
