I worked at a seed mill on the west coast. Warf rats by the hundreds! We used poison, had a ferret, tried gasing them. Never really got ahead of the problem. He even paid the mill workers $20 a rat carcus. Till a new worker took him a 5 gal bucket full of dead rats. He paid that guy an extra $200 a month to kill rats. He earned it also. .22 pistol with bird shot. Boss got a Jack Russell terrier! The dead rats started piling up!! Well she had a litter and he kept one daughter. They made a fantastic team!! The piles of dead rats grew considerably. Robert would knock the rats down with the bird shot and dogs would kill what ever survived. The Jack's were the best addition to that mill!!

Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects.
