However the rest of it is in direct opposition. It is regimented attitudes such as yours that is wrong with this nation. Any attempt at empathy and respect for the less fortunate is immediately discounted and held up as a weakness. Any system built to solely reward the winners is a self defeating proposition. After a time the "winners" get fewer and fewer as they amass wealth and power, while the "losers" become more and more numerous as all this unfettered winning goes on.
