Got up ate a stack of pancakes, had 3 hours until church. We have a cub in the lean to that needs a new input shaft in transmission. We have a parts cub so we pulled the shaft out of it and discovered it was worn badly on pto end. Got the Ford 960 and pulled the yard art cub down to the barn. Took the floor pan and seat off for another cub, then split the tractor to get input shaft out. It was a good one! Then we put the yard art tractor back together. Moved the 841 out of the barn and put the 641 ford in. I had replaced the hydraulic top cover the other day and we must have pinched an o ring,it was leaking. Pulled the seat off, pulled top cover, realized it was time to shower and head to church. Got home ate lunch, put ford back together. Drove it around a bit, no leaks. Pulled the cub needing repairs around to the barn. Removed sickle mower. Got tractor inside and got it split. Found the front and back transmission bearings were terribly wore out as was end of shaft that couples to pto. Front bearing is easy to find, back one took some hunting. Found one and O'Reilly's will have it in today. In the middle of all that we had a guy come buy the Ford 641. And a couple we sold a cub to stopped by to visit and tell us that they knew a guy with 2 cubs and equipment for sale! Fun day! Gotta start a fence install this morning,50 miles away. Should take 2-3 days. Maybe we can get that cub back together in the evenings........
