I called around to body shops in my area. No one knew of a plastic welder to make a repair. I called two places in Madison, one said they were too busy. They second shop said they did not know, they never did a fuel tank repair. Maybe if I would bring it in the maybe would look at it.
I went to a small nearby town that had done a couple of small auto repairs for me. The owner looked at it and told me he had a nitrogen welder for five years, he did not understand why it was a big deal. He had done a number of repairs like that. He told me it would be done in 3-4 days and it would not cost an arm and a leg.
