You likely checked this. The automobile flashers plug in to the socket ok, but is the flasher getting power on its X terminal? I have been trying to find a picture of the JD flasher with the terminals identified on the chanced they are reversed, doesn't seem they would do that. Does this tractor have signal lights or just flashing warning lights? If it has signals there could be a problem in the signal switch.
