Believe it when I say it is par for the course. Running for very short time allows condensed fuel to get past the rings and into the crankcase. There is also to possibility that the fuel was not shut off at the tank and it filled the carburetor and leaked into the crankcase through the intake. It would be difficult to start if that happened, but it has happened more than once in my experience with Farmalls. If it is operated with diluted oil it could cause engine failure, so before running it change the oil. 15W 40 diesel oil is recommended. They are good sturdy tractors. Jim
