Dad had a 49 KB1 until I was 18 years old. You are so right about the dust coming up off the floor when the windshield was cranked open. It was hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The engine would start at well below zero but was reluctant to start when it was hot. I was glad to see that old slow antique go when dad traded it off but I wish I had it now.
