The wife has to come first once in a while. She was the paid speaker at a tomato festival in Indiana that weekend. With all the stuff she does for me, I'm not ashamed that I went there with her instead of staying home and going to yet another tractor show this year. We've been so many shows and drives this year that she has participated in as well, I make no apologies for making a weekend all about her. I don't suffer from any dilutions that the show that did go on was any worse because we weren't there. She was asked to speak at the festival two months before we found out that that show had been turned over to our club and another one. We've hauled more tractors to more shows and rides this year than I ever really want to do again.
