We had our church's annual soup supper/hayride/game night at our place again last night (after having it canceled last year). Since I sold my all hay equipment a couple years ago, I had to come up with a new hay rack. I added some low sides to my 5th wheel flatbed trailer. I even added some lights for after dark rides. Perfect weather, beautiful sunset, bright 3/4 moon, good soup and desserts, the wind died down for the perfect bonfire. We made five trips down to the river bottom where we checked out the eagle nest where our pair raised two eaglets this year. The last two trips after the sun set I could have used an extra jacket but what a great night! Life is good in the neighborhood!
