Kubota are really utility tractors but their employee have a work ethic and managment that we are not used to. I know a guy that worked for a subsidiary of kverneland in engineering and failure was not an option. They would not like being late on a project, but delivering in advance was even worse.
Kubota engineering thinks that a 250hp tractor is very big. They are not shooting for the bigger farms. Kind of like in.construction, kubota has nothing capable of working in mines, but many other japanese consortium are buildng bigger size equipment. Komatsu, etc...
Kubota has built up a tractor engineering team in center of France and their task is to design a tractor comparable in size and spec to the John deere 6R and 6M and their competition. This has not been released as is in the press, but that is my guess. I think that tractor will be built in their european tractor factory and shipped everywhere.
Here in France, Deere is trying to do what they are doing in usa, so basically, arrogant, poor service, stabbing in the back older and trusthworthy dealer rmto replace them by huge holdings most of them unable to fix a 4020 hydraulic pump or a 4650 Powershift...
Major difference is that Euramopean market is not as bad as usa, deere holds 20 percent and less every year. The major difference is that agco and cnh both have strong networks and the tractor companies are not selling full lines of equipment.
At the end american farmers are the cause of their own problems. If they had not been as loyal to a brand and keep buting each piece of equipment from different companies and dealers, they would not have been at their mercy
