I thought all old Fords smoked. Joking. Do you know the history of this tractor. Was it babied and idled a lot? Does it smoke only when it is run at low easy speeds for a along period of time or does it smoke at all speeds and loads? If it smokes only after it has been idling along for ten minutes or longer it could have glazed cylinder walls or the rings haven't seated from too much easy low speed use. You could try the sucking BonAmi through the carburetor trick if you do suspect glazed cylinders. The abrasive BonAmi powder will deglaze the cylinders.
