We also got a new toy last fall , the vary last 2021 Jeep Cherokee anywhere remotely close to us and it was pretty well loaded . It has the heated seats and steering wheel that come on when outside temp dips below 40 degrees , i can take them for about five blocks before i turn them off . Now granted they warm the buns on leather seats on a cold morning and let you ease into the day with out the eye opening affect of a cold leather seat on a cold day . Learned that one back in the early 80's after i installed a Caddy leather seat in my 79 Ford F 250 when the spring wire around the top of the seat broke and went thru the back of my leg like and ice pick . i was given this caddy split bench seat that was full power both side free and with a little frame work to mount and a hot wire to power them they fit . One vary cold morning well below 0 and a ragging snow storm going on at around 3 Am still 3/4 asleep i go out and jump in that truck and when my cheeks hit that seat my heart stopped eyes came wide open in a flash i could not breath and came out of that truck like a shot OH my god it was COLD . back in the house and grabbed and army wool blanket to put down on the seat . Even with that high out put heater that would melt the rubber soles off your boots going full tilt it took a couple hours to get that chill out , Ah but wait till summer comes with leather seats.
