They are terrible in sod and terrible in hard dry clay . You need enough power to pull them at least 4.5 mph 5 is better. They pull like a wild cat by the a** . They dont have the weight when the ground is hard to go in the ground. You would want a 3 bottom switch plow . We pulled 7 bottoms with a 225 horsepower ballasted at 28000 pounds it was all it wanted
