So very true. My father in law at the age of 87 decided to lift a cast iron block Onan engine from the back of his 330 mustang skidsteer
loader up to his work bench to overhaul it. He could have asked me for help but he was very independent. He did the repair and got it running again.
It caused him to become basically bedridden for the remaning 5 years of his life! There was lifting equipment there for him to use, but took a shortcut that cost in pain and suffering cannot be measured.
