Manufacturers are only required to provide parts for 10 years. That is not just Kubota, that's across the board. Tractors, cars, trucks... 10 years.
That does not mean that won't continue to provide parts support longer than that. They will continue to provide parts support for as long as it is profitable. Manufacturers are not charities. They have to make a profit to keep the doors open, to keep investors happy.
What it does mean is that lesser-used parts will not be replenished after the stock runs out. They look at how many they've sold in a certain amount of time, and if there is enough demand they get more made. Otherwise they use that shelf space for something more profitable.
You can take the lack of spare parts in this case to mean something completely different: This part hardly ever fails and it's just your bad luck.
If it's a simple shaft someone with a lathe should be able to recreate it.
