I have a IH 444 witch probably shares some parts but it is new to me so I can't say too much about it yet other than it is very easy to drive and nimble machine.
Similar tractors would be the Case 530/580 series and Ford 4000-5000 (not sure of the construction version #s) and Deere construction models as well.
$5000 seems high to me depending on condition if backhoe or not. and consider condition, past history (if known) tires ect ect.
