Kansas Museme of History in Topeka (North West edge) is a good place to stop and look around if you've never been there before. Alot to see, mostly all inside. If you like musemes. Stauffer salvage (older tractors) is outside of Holton (Mayeta) Ks. Good place to call ahead/pick something up if your needing something. There is an Oklahoma City bombing memorial to see in Oklahoma City. A memorial of those lost in the bombing. I've never been there, but have heard it is really something to see. There's a really good western wear store in Lincoln Ne. called The Fort. If you are in need of any western wear. They have a branch store (I think) outside of Omaha someplace. And maybe outside of St. Joe. Not sure if they are as good of stores as thier Lincoln location. I've never been to any of their branch stores.
I might re-post if some other places come to mind.
