I apologize in advance for the obscurity of this one, but you folks have a wealth of knowledge. My portable AC has gotten loud. It seems one of the roller bearings in the condenser fan motor is making the noise.
I've attached pics of the fan motor identification plate, the rotor, and the part number on one of the bearings. Apparently, the motor is a Zhongshan Broad-Ocean Motor Co. model YDK80-4A (YDK-085L42843-01). And the part number on the bearing is 6201 ZZ.
I'd like to find a replacement motor to drop in. With my limited Googling ability, I've not managed to find one. Anyone got any pointers on that? Perhaps you might know a knowledgeable supplier I could contact?
Absent finding the whole motor, I have located sources for the bearing (though none in stock right now). But I have only basic tools. So, removing and replacing the bearing (the lower one) might prove challenging. Any pointers on that?
