I have one leaking too I have known where it is coming out for a good while and just recently found where it is going in. A ledge of tree roots at the water line has a couple of holes about an inch an inch and a half diameter under them. When the water gets down to the holes I can see it flowing into the holes. I am going to get in the water and pack bentonite into the holes with a bricklayers trowel and see if that works then cut the trees. When the roots rot it may leak worse. If I could pump the bentonite some way I would run a hose in the holes as far as I could and pump them full on the way out. The inside leak is directly across from the outside leak.it goes in about three feet down from top of levee and comes out at the ground level on the outside. I am open to any ideas also.
