Could be a Woods or an IH model mower but don't know if IH made them or someone made them and put a IH sign on them. I have a 184 which is 2 models newer than yours and the mower says IH. To change the rear seal if you have room to work you can change the seal while the motor is still on the tractor. You will have to get it up in the air so you can work under it unless you want to tear apart most of the tractor. Mine has an electric PTO next to the clutch so maybe you have room enough to work since yours doesn't have the feature. May be just easier to lift out the motor.
