So I guess I'm the only one that sees the history of earth as it was/is. The dinosaurs roamed till the next ice age which froze them and buried them below the escarpments of the Glaciers creating the time and compression along with some decay causing the plants and animals to become extinct while making oil from the process. Thus the reason for animals being as deep as the oil and part of the oil. Also if you look at some of the places oil have been pumped out of for decades they are in some lower laying lands. Not always but some of it is.
