To all my milking friends, a question. Here on my MASSIVE Jersey dairy ( 4 ) I use a DeLaval vacuum pump that I'm guesstimating is a mid 40's era pump. A #73 model, Ser# 6307071
anybody a) have knowledge of this pump, 2) perhaps have an old manual ( I've scoured the internet, no luck ), #) Know what is appropriate for oil in this type of vane pump, d) have a recommendation of where I might look for parts?
The kind gentleman at DeLaval smiled, rolled his eyes, and said huh?
E-mail is open Any insights appreciated.
BTW, it is working fine, but I would like to flush and refill the reservoir...
