Son never got his pre-plant herbicide down because of the weather and decided to plant soybeans and spray them pre-emerge so he asked me if I would run the sprayer--Have not ran it for 7 years but to get the crop in said yes... It has been too windy about every day but kept plugging away at it--only got one batch Monday because of the wind but heard the forecast for Tuesday and got up early--5:30 AM and had a good day for a old man. We got done planting soybeans yesterday and I almost caught him and got done spraying at 8:15 last night!--Rode that ol sprayer for 14 hrs. yesterday--Tired---Tee Pic from the seat--a Deere 6500 self-propelled sprayer-where I live now. Pics of my old home place on the left--3/4 mi. rows--can get a lot done when you aren't always turning around. It is not a new sprayer but since son has it he put in a GPS system in it--Tells what is sprayed and what is not--plots what sprayed but the color change--yellow is sprayed and green is not. It only takes 60 ft. but when there are no rows to count it comes in handy!
