When I was a senior in high school my dad bought a WD9 about 75 miles from home, it was my job to drive it home , It was fun (better then school) I don't remember how long it took but it was dark when I got home, we checked the lights before I took off from the farm, a family friend lived close to the road and she called my mom when I drove by to let my parents know I was close to home . A friend told of someone he knew that bought a super 92 Massey combine by Devils lake ND and drove it home to Fergas Falls MN ,It took days he would pull of the road at night and sleep under the combine get up the next day and go again .
